The Buffalo Sabres picked up at least a point in all three of their games this week, falling in overtime to both the Columbus Blue Jackets and Boston Bruins before earning a shootout win over the Washington Capitals.

The Buffalo Sabres faced a demanding schedule this week, playing four games against key Atlantic Division rivals – the Montreal Canadiens, Detroit Red Wings, and a home-and-home series with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Out of a possible eight points, the Sabres collected five, earning wins over Detroit and Toronto before falling in overtime to close out the week.

Just a few weeks into the season, the Buffalo Sabres’ management already find themselves facing a goaltending dilemma, but not one that most people would have predicited.
