I frequently participate in technical Q&A boards, and sometimes I want to reference a specific tool or article I’ve written that explains a solution in more detail. However, I’m always worried about being flagged as a spammer even if the link is 100% relevant. I also try to avoid using "commercial" anchor text. Just using the URL or a very natural phrase works best. It’s all about context—if the thread is specifically asking for tool recommendations, it’s much safer to share your work than in a thread that is strictly theoretical.
